RRR 2: SS Rajamouli Gives A Big Update About The Film’s Sequel

A sequel to the blockbuster movie RRR is currently in the early phases of development, according to director SS Rajamouli, which is a relatively unexpected move. As per the reports, SS Rajamouli recently remarked, “My father is a plot writer for all my films,” during a gathering in Chicago. “We briefly talked about the sequel RRR 2, and he is now writing the tale.”

He didn’t reveal the cast or release date though but his father Virendra Prasad will be writing the story.

Mahesh Babu And Rajamouli Will Work Together On Rajamouli’s Upcoming Flick.

On RRR2, there is not much information now accessible. Based on the real-life experiences of two Telugu liberation fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem, is the fictional story RRR (Jr NTR). The film just debuted in Japan and went on to earn over 1,100 crores globally, making it the third-highest-grossing Indian film in the nation.

The makers of RRR have submitted the movie to the Academy in all the major categories, including Best Picture, Best Director (SS Rajamouli), Best Actor (Jr NTR and Ram Charan), Best Supporting Actress (Alia Bhatt), Best Supporting Actor (Ajay Devgn), and more. RRR may have lost out to Chhello show as India’s official entry for the Oscars in 2023.

Makers Are Overwhelmed With Love

The film’s creators posted on their Instagram page of RRR, “Overwhelmed by the reception the movie has gotten globally,” “#RRRForOscars. We are privileged that RRR’s resounding success served as an ambassador for Indian cinema on a global scale by setting records at the box office and connecting moviegoers from all over the world despite linguistic and cultural barriers.”

The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), slated to take place from November 20 to 28 in Goa this year, will exhibit 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films, including the star-studded RRR.
