A video of Rosanna Pansino showing mold in Lunchly meals has gone viral
Despite asserting that the “expiration date was still 2 months away,” Rosanna Pansino claimed to have found rotting cheese while unwrapping a Lunchly meal for a YouTube video.
On October 20, Rosanna Pansino was filming a YouTube video in which she demonstrated how she opened a meal from Lunchly and purportedly discovered mold. She posted several things to her Twitter/X account, calling it “disgusting.”

She wrote, “I was filming a video comparing Lunchables to Lunchly and was shocked when I opened ‘The Pizza’ Lunchly. The cheese had MOLD! The expiration date was still 2 months away! I checked online and found at least a dozen other people posting that their Lunchly’s were moldy too.”
The newly launched snack brand Lunchly by KSI, Logan Paul, and MrBeast is under investigation after Rosanna Pansino, another YouTuber, reportedly found mold in one of its items. Lunchly, marketed as a “healthier” substitute for Kraft Heinz’s well-liked Lunchables, is currently facing criticism.

Pansino clarified in a subsequent YouTube video that the products she examined on October 16 had a December 4, 2024, best-by date.
She highlighted that the item should be fine for another two months but it is having a mold. This is dangerous, especially for young children who might consume it because they don’t know what mold looks like. Rosanna urged people to avoid eating mold since it is really unhealthy.
In the video, which aimed to compare Lunchly and Lunchables, Rosanna Pansino opened the pack containing the rotten cheese. Kotaku claims that the YouTuber is not the only person to find rotting cheese in a lunchtime snack.
People who have come across rotting cheese have started posting proof on social media, especially Reddit and TikTok.
