Although the Bianconeri are attempting to take the Chelsea striker away from Inter they first need to offload Vlahovic.
Lukaku goes AWOL on Inter move
Lukaku’s transfer saga took a dramatic turn in the past 24 hours after looking all set to join Inter permanently. Following weeks of negotiations between Inter and Chelsea, the two clubs finally reached an agreement to send the Belgian back to the Giuseppe Meazza.
Things looked finalised and the Nerazzurri finally seemed to have gotten their man. However, Romelu Lukaku did not give the go-ahead in the final moment, and went AWOL with both Inter and Chelsea. Reports eventually came out stating that Lukaku is stalling the deal as he is considering a deal from Juventus.

According to reports, Juventus are pushing to sign Lukaku, by offering the 30-year-old striker a four-year deal worth €11 million per year. The offer has apparently turned Lukaku’s head away from making a permanent transfer from Chelsea to Inter.
The Bianconeri are ready to offer €40million (£34m) for the 30-year-old. Lukaku’s net worth is $150 million.
Despite the bold move by Juventus, the club cannot actually offer Lukaku the deal unless they first sell Dusan Vlahovic. The Bianconeri can hardly afford paying both Vlahovic and Lukaku’s wages.
Moreover, Lukaku would only agree to arrive in Turin if he is a replacement for the Serb. As for Vlahovic, Juventus are currently not in any active negotiations to sell him. Although the 23-year-old is a prospective target for Paris Saint-Germain, the Parisians have still not put forward anything up until now.
