Belgian International Romelu Lukaku will be undergoing medical tests on his right thigh before returning to Chelsea. He scored the opening goal in Belgium’s 3-0 triumph over the Czech Republic and scored a brace in the match against Estonia.
Lukaku will not be available for the selection ahead of Belgium’s World Cup qualifier against Belarus due to suspension. Subsequently, he will travel to London after the medical tests on his right thigh which was causing him minor discomfort.
Chelsea camp was handed over a major blow when they received the news but it was later discovered that it is nothing major. Meanwhile, It was Lukaku’s 100th International Cap for the Belgium National team where he has scored 67 goals.

28-years-old Romelu Lukaku completed a century of appearances for the Belgium squad and scored the opening goal. He made his first senior appearance for the Belgium team in 2010 and has since not looked back.
Lukaku has cemented his position in the Belgium squad under the former manager Roberto Martinez and has become an influential player. He will undergo further tests on his knee before returning to Chelsea who are hoping for nothing serious.
He said-
“I’ll have a scan of my thigh first. I have been struggling with a minor issue for a while. Then I will return to Chelsea.”
This is a crucial month for the Blues who will begin their European title defense in Mid-September before the trip to Villa Park next weekend. They are hoping that their new £97.5million signing from Inter Milan will be fit before the weekend clash.
