The two-day event, known as Rolling Loud India, will showcase Indian and international hip-hop culture with two different stages, local cuisine and beverages, art exhibits, and interactive activities. Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, who were born in Miami and were childhood friends, founded the event in 2015. It was based on the thriving South Florida hip-hop scene that the two had developed during years of concert management.
“We never imagined Rolling Loud would take us all the way to India, it’s incredible. The hip-hop scene in India has been booming, and bringing the festival to Mumbai felt like the right decision. We’re excited to create a space where Indian fans can celebrate the artists they love, while also introducing international acts to a new audience.” said Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, Co-Founders of Rolling Loud.
Rolling Loud history
Founded in 2015 by Miami locals and childhood friends Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler (8x Billboard Hip-Hop Power Players), Rolling Loud was based on a thriving South Florida hip-hop scene that the two had developed over years of event production. Rolling Loud broke expectations right away at a time when the pop music machine wasn’t taking live hip-hop entertainment seriously.
As a result, they expanded at a never-before-seen rate, from Miami to Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Australia in just five years, and to Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Toronto, and Thailand in just ten. The festival is where hip-hop history is created in addition to introducing the genre to followers worldwide.
the fact that mostly people in India don't even actually know what Rolling Loud is and I KNOW for a fact that they will not even make an effort to know about it, will still go to make reels, and will buy 200 tickets to resell is absolutely fucking enraging.

A major factor in Rolling Loud’s success is its commitment to building community in each location it enters, which has allowed the festival to gain recognition as a lifestyle brand rather than merely a festival.
With a thriving media and production arm that produces content for other globally recognized brands, a booming fashion and merchandising business that outsells some of the biggest artists in the world, and an innovative web3 model that combines experience with digital ownership, Rolling Loud has established a brand that is respected for its inventiveness and authenticity by artists, brands, and fans alike. The largest hip-hop festival in the world is called Rolling Loud.
