As one of the year’s top shows for OTT streaming partners, Sony LIV’s Rocket Boys ranked as one of the best original Indian shows.
The second season of Rocket Boys, which tells the history of the Indian Space Program, is expected to raise the tension bar this season. Dr Bhabha and Sarabhai will now be in charge of the country’s defence.
Thankfully, Sony LIV has now confirmed that season 2 will debut next month, so we won’t have to wait too long to watch our Rocket Boys take flight once more.

Finally Confirmed Rocket Boys Season 2 Release Window
The formal announcement that Rocket Boys season 2 will be released in March 2023 came on February 12 from Sony LIV. Fans are super excited that Dr Bubbha will be taking flight again, even though a precise release date is yet unknown.
The Official Renewal Of Second Season
On August 15, 2022, Rocket Boys received a formal season 2 renewal, as announced in a YouTube video on the Sony LIV channel.
In the teaser trailer, the narration stated, “India will not be threatened. Not anymore. “Our team is prepared to take any action necessary.” The teaser demonstrates how high the stakes have risen since season one.
While the news that the Rocket Boys series had been renewed for a second season delighted fans, few of us were overly surprised to see Dr Bhabha and his gang back.
The Return Of Dr Bhabha’s Gang
The cast of season 2 will mostly remain the same because season 1 had such positive reviews. It is further evidenced by the fact that the show was streamed on Sony LIV, where it experienced one of the greatest decreases in 2022.
In fact, season 1 had an incredible IMDB rating of 8.9/10 and took home several prizes at the 2022 Filmfare OTT Awards. The list includes the Best Drama Series, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Costume Design, and Best VFX.
