The opening round will take place over two days, May 22 and 23, at the UFC Performance Institute in Shanghai, China.
Road To UFC Season 4 format
The upcoming competition will follow a straightforward “win-and-advance” bracket-style tournament format. The tournament will feature four weight classes, with eight fighters in each —flyweight, bantamweight, featherweight, and lightweight. Each of the winners from the four brackets will then receive a UFC contract.

The opening round will take place on May 22-23, 2025, at the UFC Performance Institute, Shanghai, China.
