Tribute To Nurses With RN Sign And Shooting Incident
Initially one Facebook user changed their profile photo and this happened three hours after the news of two nurses dying because of shooing wounds was reported. The two Methodist Dallas Medical Center employees were killed on Saturday which was 22nd October in Texas. Police officiated a shooting incident at 11am by Nestor Hernandez.
The motive behind the attack remains unknown but the 30-year-old perpetrator was released on parole for aggravated robbery and was permitted by state officials to be at the hospital for the birth of a child. Dallas police have said that Hernandez was wearing an active ankle monitor at the time of the incident, writes ABC13.
One hospital police officer was successful in shooting the gunman and later on he took to the gunman for his treatment. Post-treatment the cops managed to take his custody. They also have information that the aggravated robbery dates back to 2015 when he and a female suspect attacked a woman and stole her phone, car, and cash.
Hernandez was announced guilty in May of year 2015 and was handed an eight-year prison sentence. The hospital addressed the shocking incident in a press release published the same day.
“The Methodist Health System Family is heartbroken at the loss of two of our beloved team members,” it reads. During this devastating time, we want to ensure our patients, physicians, employees, and communities that Methodist Dallas Medical Center is safe, and there is no ongoing threat.”
