Now, today (September 11), the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Bombay announced the JEE Advanced results. R K Shishir, a student from Karnataka, placed first in the JEE-Advanced admission test for IITs in Common Rank List (CRL). He scored 314 marks out of 360.

Since he is a bright student, he has undoubtedly topped an entrance exam previously.

Shishir was preparing for both the KCET 2022 exam and the JEE Advanced 2022 test at the same time. Shishir also obtained Rank 1 in Pharmacy and Rank 4 in Engineering for the KCET 2022 test. He achieved a KCET total score of 178 out of 180 points and a CET percentage of 100.

Who Is RK Shishir?

RK Shishir is a native of Karnataka. He has been in the news because he recently topped the JEE (Advanced) 2022 exam and everyone keeps praising him and wishing him for bright future.

He was born in the year 2008 in Sahakar Nagar, Karnataka. His father is Journalist at the Times of India, however, his name is not known. On the other hand, his mother is a homemaker.

He did his schooling from Narayana eTechno School Vidyaranyapura and in Class 12th from CBSE Board, he scored 97.9%. R.K. Shishir, a student of Narayana E-Techno School, Vidyaranyapura, emerged as the top ranker in the Common Rank List (CRL) of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay zone area.

How Did He Study?

RK Shishir claims that he did not put in the customary 12–14 hours per week of study time, while always being a dedicated student. He claimed that practice quality is more significant than practice quantity in passing admission tests.

According to him, after each hour of study, he would take a short break. He also asserted that taking pauses frequently did not signify a lack of attention but rather aided in his achievement. He has been preparing for the JEE test for the past two years.
