Price of Riyan Parag’s IPL Auction
In 2019, Rajasthan Royals paid a base price of Rs. 20 lakhs to acquire Riyan Parag. The Rajasthan Royals kept him for a few more seasons before releasing him in 2022, just before the Mega IPL Auction. Despite competitive bidding from Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals, and Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals ultimately won the all-rounder for 3.80 crores.

Riyan Parag In IPL
Riyan Parag primarily bats in the middle of the order for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, although he also occasionally bowls spin. Parag participated in every game for his side in 2020, but he couldn’t repeat his success from the year before. Only 86 runs were scored by him, averaging 12.28 and striking out 111.68 percent of the time. Nevertheless, he did succeed in helping the Rajasthan Royals defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad with an undefeated 42 off 26.
His bowling was not fully utilised because Parag only had a few overs to bowl, during which he was hit for 27 runs.
2021 saw an even worse performance from Parag. In 10 games, he managed just 93 runs at an average of 11.62. His bowling was insufficient to make up for his subpar batting because he only managed to take one wicket and had an economy rate of 11.83.
Parag played in 17 games of the most recent IPL season. His strike rate increased to 138.64 as a result of batting down the order, but his consistency remained unchanged. In 14 innings, Parag ran for 183 runs at a 16.64 average.
