This anime series is prepared to benefit from Rick and Morty global success, know its likely release date
Rick & Morty: The Anime was released by HBO Max in partnership with Adult Swim and Telecom Animation Film. The streaming service unveiled a lot of information about new projects on Wednesday, and one of them was a poster for Rick & Morty: The Anime, which showed the animated version of eccentric scientist Rick Sanchez and his nephew Morty. The identical poster was published on HBO Max’s Twitter account.

Adult Swim had been commissioned by HBO Max to embark on the Rick & Morty anime project in 2022. The character design is almost identical to that of the 2020 anime short Rick and Morty Vs. Genocider, according to the revelation and a prior Adult Swim short movie. Takashi Sano, the director of Tower of God, was also reported to be returning for this series.

“The multiverse-straddling exploits of Rick and the others present challenges to the family bond,” Sano noted in the Rick and Morty short film. It’s a beautiful sight, and Jerry is certainly not an exemption. “I am grateful for having the chance to tell a new tale about this wonderful family. I hope you appreciate their exploits!” It was previously known that the voice performers for Rick and Morty will be recast, but no names have been given. Justin Roiland, the series’ main voice actor, was fired due to a domestic abuse charge.
The anime shorts, on the other hand, included Japanese voice acting with English subtitles. So it appears that Roiland is unnecessary. This anime series is set to capitalize on Rick & Morty’s international fame. HBO hasn’t revealed anything about the narrative, so eager fans will have to wait until the series premieres.
With this traditional sitcom format, series producers from America to Japan will gather in the same room to swap ideas and develop more and more profitable TV shows. The debut of Rick & Morty: The Anime has not yet been announced by HBO Max, but it is anticipated to happen later this year in 2023.
