Amid this turmoil, Ritika Sajdeh, wife of India cricket captain Rohit Sharma, has shown her support for the residents of Rafah, which is a heartwarming gesture along with the daughter of BJP leader Manoj Tiwari.
His daughter Rhiti Tiwari who had also joined the BJP previously had posted all eyes on Rafah on her Instagram to throw her weight behind the strikes by Israel.

On Tuesday, Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, shared an Instagram story supporting Palestinians in Gaza. Shortly after, she faced significant online criticism, backlash, and trolling, leading her to delete the post.
Ritika posted “All Eyes on Rafah” on her Instagram story as a gesture of solidarity with Palestine, in light of Israeli shelling and airstrikes in Rafah, a southern Gaza city, which resulted in over 45 casualties on Sunday.
This phrase has been widely shared on social media in support of Palestinians. A screenshot of Ritika’s story quickly went viral, especially on X, where it received substantial trolling.
Netizens Reaction
Critics chastised her for not addressing Indian issues, such as the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, and some mocked her for allegedly not knowing the location of Rafah. She was also labeled ‘anti-Hindu’ by some commenters.

While Ritika advocates for Palestinians on social media, Rohit is currently in the US, preparing to lead the Indian cricket team in the upcoming T20 World Cup. The upcoming tournament is set to take place from June 2 to 29.
