While the Resident Evil 4 remake tale is around the same length as the original, it lacks the DLC that was included with RE4. This is something that some people have inquired about
The remake of Resident Evil 4 has to be one of the most eagerly awaited games of the year. The review embargo on the first game, which is among the best of all time, was lifted a full week before its release.
After the disappointing RE3, fans will be happy to hear that the plot has largely remained the same length. Many aspects of the retelling are faithful to the original RE4.
Resident Evil 4 remake story length and time to beat game
How long does it take to beat the Resident Evil 4 remake?
It takes between 15 and 20 hours to complete the Resident Evil 4 remake. In the end, it all comes down to whether you’re a seasoned RE4 fan or a total newcomer. If you are already familiar with the game, you should have little trouble solving all the riddles; however, first-timers will need a little more time.
But, the remake has also included various side missions in addition to the main to finish. Whether you’re an OG original or someone saving the President’s daughter for the first time, this should lengthen your gaming experience.

Aren’t they longer than RE4?
It takes no more time to beat the Resident Evil 4 remake than the original RE4. It took around 12 to 15 hours to complete the original Capcom game, and the next remake will be no different. The remake’s length was assumed to be around the same in October 2022.
This is wonderful news for fans because RE3’s short length and deleted content were two of its most frustrating features. Although Capcom hasn’t changed any of the game’s content, Ada Wong’s DLC and online multiplayer aren’t included at launch.
DLC for missing Resident Evil 4
Regrettably, the remake does not debut with the Different Ways DLC featuring Ada Wong, despite the stories being about the same length. After launch, this DLC was added to the first version of RE4. And according to leaker Dusk Golem on ResetEra, it appears that the same will take place once more.
There is no online Mercenaries Mode at launch in addition to the Separate Ways DLC not being available. However, Capcom has confirmed that this will be offered for free after the launch.
The RE4 remake debuts on March 24 for PC through Steam, Xbox for Xbox One and Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PS5, and PlayStation 5. Although it won’t go live for a few more days, you may now play the chainsaw demo.
