Their compass was broken which made it hard for them to cross the star region. Wang Lin proposed that he could repair the compass but in return, it would belong to him. Zheng Niu agreed to it and Wang Lin then repaired the compass based on the memory of the ancient god. They crossed the void region with the help of the compass.
