Meanwhile, another Chelsea wonderkid Trevor Chalobah was subbed off in the match at Vicarage Road. He felt something in the hamstring in the opening 15 minutes of the second half and was immediately subbed off.

Chelsea’s medical staff are currently running tests on him to determine the seriousness of the injury. English right-back Reece James was in exceptional form this season and is currently a big miss for the team. German manager Thomas Tuchel counts on him and expects the English full-back to recover shortly. He suffered a knock in the clash against Manchester United to miss the encounter against Watford.

He had previously suffered an ankle injury this term. Thomas Tuchel has confirmed he will be back against West Ham this weekend.

Italian midfielder Jorginho did not feature in the midweek clash against Watford and was an unused sub. It might be a statement from Tuchel that the midfielder is still recovering and might be available before the weekend clash against West Ham.
