“Real Madrid behaving like this is illegal,” PSG Sporting Director Leonardo Araujo Hits Out At The La Liga Club As He Admits Kylian Mbappe Wants To Leave

PSG had only yesterday decided to spurn a staggering 160 million euro bid for Kylian Mbappe from Real Madrid

Ever since last year, PSG have found themselves in a soup when it comes to Kylian Mbappe. Despite working assiduously to get the Frenchman to commit his future to the club, PSG has persistently floundered in their efforts.

Mbappe who has one year remaining on his PSG contract is said to be extremely eager to switch allegiance to Real Madrid with both the parties besotted by each other. And PSG signing Lionel Messi went onto only worsen things as reports emanated from France with Mbappe being irked at no longer being the star attraction in France.

Leonardo Araujo Admits Kylian Mbappe Is Seeking Real Madrid Transfer

Given the ever worsening situation between the two, Real Madrid to swoop in for the Frenchman, The La Liga side sent in a colossal 160 million euro bid for Mbappe on Wednesday, one which was swiftly quashed by the Ligue 1 side.

While the bid has rejected by PSG, the club’s sporting director has now confirmed that Kylian Mbappe does indeed want to leave the club. Speaking at length about the issue, Leonardo Araujo talked about how PSG would refuse to part company with the player till their valuation wasn’t met with the 160 million euro bid being way off the club’s target.

With AS Monaco getting a sizeable chunk of any money PSG make from the transfer, the club is buying its time and waiting for the right offer. In the sensational interview, Araujo also went onto take a swipe at Real Madrid as he lashed out at the club for illegally approaching Mbappe over the last two years.

“Kylian Mbappé wants to leave, that seems clear.
“In terms of our position on Real, it seems like a strategy to try to get a no from us, to show that they have tried everything and to wait for a year to get him for free.
“We consider the offer to be very far from what Kylian represents today,” Leonardo said.
