For those who are unversed, let us tell you, the Anime series has been officially renewed for season 3 at the Anime Japan 2023. It may appear that every other anime is an Isekai series these days, i.e., a reincarnation into another world-type show.

However, Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World remains one of the most popular and recognizable Isekai anime of all time; an outstanding series with some of the most well-crafted time travel-based plotlines available.
Anime Japan 2023 began with a bang, with confirmation that season 3 of the anime adaptation of Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World is now in the works.
Season 3 of Re:Zero is yet to be announced, but it is expected to premiere in either January 2024 on the Winter slate or April 2024 on the Spring slate.
Along with the announcement, a new preview trailer was posted to the Kadokawa Anime YouTube channel, and the main voice cast commented on the series’ Twitter page:
“Thank you for the decision on the Re-Zero 3rd season!” said Subaru’s voice, Yusuke Kobayashi. “The Emilia camp’s bond has grown stronger, and Subaru will undoubtedly feel more at ease with more dependable allies… I don’t believe it in the least! I’m sure he’ll go through even more hell. But I was always prepared for it! Let us fight destiny!”
“Congratulations to all the fans who have been waiting for it!” said Inori Minase, Rem’s voice actress. To all the fans who have been waiting for it, to all the people who have worked tirelessly to make it happen, and to all the staff who have worked tirelessly towards the decision to produce.”
Along with the confirmation that Re:Zero season 3 is in the works, it was also revealed that a new smartphone game would be available to fans in the near future.
The new game, titled “Witch’s Re:surrection,” will be released on iOS and Android devices.
Unfortunately, no release date has been announced for the upcoming Re:Zero smartphone game, though the preview trailer did confirm that it will be a 3D RPG title with the tagline: “Collect, search, fight-To a new otherworldly life!” Among friends!”
