On 4th may In the Game of Chennai Super Kings against Royall Challengers Banglore Jadeja attempted a fairly difficult catch running forward. He landed right on his ribs and was looking in some pain after that.
But even after the Injury Jaddu decided to play that game. In the next game against DC Jadeja was advised to sit out so that the injury could heal quickly. Shivam Dubey replaced Jadeja in the team who was sitting out. The CEO of CSK said that Jadeja should not strain his ribs and for that he should not play the remainder of the IPL.

The Injury which Jadeja has picked up looks like a normal injury and he should be back in action after 2-3 weeks. For a speedy recovery, Jadeja should avoid putting any strain on his core. Although the injury didn’t look serious as Jadeja continued to play the whole game. Jadeja’s availability is not just a big concern for CSK, he is a key player on the national side as well.

Ravindra Jadeja has been completely out of touch in the tournament as he scored just 116 runs in 10 matches. The 33-year-old all-rounder failed to deliver with both bat and ball in IPL 2022. He only managed to pick 5 wickets in the tournament. After a forgettable campaign, Jadeja had an abrupt end to the tournament by picking up an injury.
Shivam Dubey who was smacking the really hard before he was unknowingly got benched out. CSK have minimal chance to still qualify for the playoffs now as they can only reach 14 points now. Time will tell whether the injury of Ravindra Jadeja is a Blessing in Disguise or not.
