According to the publication, the 28-year-old was tragically shot at a bowling alley on Tuesday, November 1, just after 2:30 a.m. When shots were fired, he was apparently playing a dice game with his uncle and bandmate. His real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball.
In response to a shooting at the location at 1200 Polk, Houston Police reported that “one victim was found deceased upon arrival.” At the scene, Takeoff was declared deceased.
As of this writing, the police department has decided to withhold the victim’s identity until “his family is informed” and the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has confirmed it.
