30-year-old Rich the Kid was born in Queens, New York City on July 13, 1992, and he belongs to a Haitian family. He was brought up speaking Haitian Creole fluently. When he was 13, his parents separated, and he moved to College Park, Georgia, with his mother.
During his time at Elmont Memorial Junior – Senior High School in Elmont, New York, he used to go by the rap name Black Boy Da Kid, which he later changed to Rich the Kid.
