The rapper, actual name Jaime Brugada Valdez, passed away on Tuesday night with injuries associated with a homicide, according to representatives of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
He was incarcerated at a Soledad prison, where he had been completing a 32-month term for a gun-related offense since January. According to Nicholas Rosenberg, a lawyer representing Valdez, authorities said that Valdez had been stabbed, and an investigation was ongoing.
