24-year old Raphinha has recently been linked to a possible transfer to Anfield from Elland Road, where the winger has been a huge success for Leeds United. The Brazilian forward moved to the West Yorkshire based club from Rennes in October 2020, and has found the back of the net five times in 10 Premier League appearances. It was because of his exceptional ability as a forward that Raphinha recently received his first call-up for the Brazil national team.

Raphinha started his professional career with Avai’s under-20 team in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A in the year 2014. The club retained him after offers and interests from some of Brazil’s top clubs, but in 2016 he stood out at the Copa Sao Paulo De Futebol, ultimately being signed by Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes.
Vitoria Guimaraes
In the 2017-18 season, Raphinha scored 18 goals in 43 appearances for the Portuguese club across all competitions and was also awarded the Vitoria Guimaraes Breakthrough Player of the Year in 2017.
Sporting CP
Raphinha signed a contract with Portuguese-side Sporting CP in May 2018 until 2019. With Sporting, the Brazilian won the 2018-19 Taca Da Liga and the 2018-19 Taca De Portugal.
Rennes
Signed by the French-side in 2019 for a whopping transfer fee of 21 million Euros, Raphinha netted eight goals and provided seven assists during his time at the club. He also played a key role in helping Rennes participate in the UEFA Champions League 2020-2021 season.
Leeds United
In October, 2020, the Brazilian was signed by the Premier League side for an amount of about 20 million Euros. By the end of the 2020-21 season, Raphinha had six goals in the PL to his name. As of the current 2021-22 season, the 24-year old forward continues to display impressive performances against teams like Everton against whom he has scored in each of his three appearances.

Raphinha had signed a 4-year contract with Leeds United in October 2020, which would keep him at the West Yorkshire club till the end of the 2023-24 season. As recently as last month, the Brazilian forward signed a contract with Leeds which revealed his annual earnings to amount to 1.2 Million Euros.
Not just Liverpool, French-giants Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich are the new ones in line looking to sign Raphinha after his national teammate and Brazilian superstar Neymar put in a few good words about the 24-year old. However, Raphinha’s agent Deco- the Portuguese and Barcelona great has confirmed that the Leeds winger is content with his current club, but might surely want to up his game and move forward in terms of a shift in clubs.
