Indian first class tournament will be played between 38 teams across the country. Top Indian test players will be featuring in the elite championship. Ajinkya Rahane, Prithvi Shaw, Mayank Aggarwal, Sanju Samson and lot of others big names will participate in the tournament.

Aditya Shrivastava will lead the defending champions Madhya Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy 2022-23.

Madhya Pradesh won its maiden title in the 2021-22 edition of Ranji Trophy

Madhya Pradesh created history by winning their first ever Ranji Trophy title in the final against Mumbai. Rajat Patidar shined with the bat for Madhya Pradesh in the whole tournament.

Despite Sarfaraz Khan’s man of he series performance Mumbai were left 1 step behind from Madhya Pradesh in the finals. Sarfarz Khan smashed 982 runs in the tournament and will be looking to continue his sublime form in the Ranji Trophy 22-23 edition.

The 38 teams are divided into 5 groups name Elite A, Elite B, Elite C, Elite D and Plate group.

Elite B group is expected to be a exciting group as teams like Mumbai, Delhi and Tamil Nadu drawn into the group.
