Patidar was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on June 1, 1993. He comes from a family of businessmen. When he was eight years old, he joined a cricket club and was later enrolled in an academy by his grandfather. He began his career as a bowler before focusing on batting after completing his U-15 levels.
The 28 year old has a height of 5 feet and 7 inches.
Career So Far
In the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy, he made his first-class debut on October 30. On January 8, 2018, he made his Twenty20 debut for Madhya Pradesh in the 2017–18 Zonal T20 League.
With 713 runs in eight matches, he was Madhya Pradesh’s best run-scorer in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy. He was picked to the India Blue team’s squad for the 2019–20 Duleep Trophy in August 2019.
Later on, he was purchased by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL auction in February 2021, ahead of the 2021 Indian Premier League.

Rajat Patidar has joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore as a replacement for Luvnith Sisodia
Royal Challengers Bangalore has signed Madhya Pradesh batter Rajat Patidar as a substitute for injured Luvnith Sisodia for the remainder of the Indian Premier League season, the franchise said on Sunday.
Patidar had previously represented the RCB franchise four times, scoring 861 runs with seven half-centuries at an average of 30.75 and a strike rate of 138.64 in 31 T20s.
In 39 first-class matches, the 28-year-old from Indore has scored 2588 runs at an average of 40.43, with seven hundreds and 14 fifties.
For Rs 20 lakh, the right-handed batsman will join RCB. RCB has played two games so far this season, winning one and losing the other.
