Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor recently welcomed their baby girl on the 6th of November in 2022. These two were married in April 2022. Their baby girl was named by Ranbir’s mother,ย Neetu Kapoor. Aliaa has uploaded a picture of 3 on her Instagram with a caption that revealed who named the baby.

Alia Bhatt posted a picture on Instagram and the caption was, The name of the baby girl Raha (chosen by her wise and wonderful Dadi) has several beautiful meanings,” she wrote referring to Neetu Kapoor.
“Raha, is known to be the purest form which means divine path, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan, in Swahili she is Joy, In Bangla – rest, comfort, relief, in Arabic peace, it also means freedom, happiness and bliss. And true to this name, from the first moments we held her – we felt it ALL!”
“Thank you Raha, my baby, for bringing our family to life, it feels as though our lives have only just started now after you came,” she wrote in the caption under pictures.
Talking about how she and Ranbir Kapoor will manage their hectic work schedules after Raha’s birth, Alia stated in an interview with CNBC – โI think that the journey of discovery will start once the baby comes. Ranbir is very happy to share that responsibility and recently stated in an interview that he has a โbig responsibility on his head and that is to send me back to work as the movies will suffer if i don’t do my part โ
In 2018, they 2 made their first public appearance together at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding reception. This year, Alia Bhatt launched her Ed-a-Mamma brand, which specializes in maternity wear. The actress also plans to expand her kidswear brand, which she recently launched in 2020 to countries such as the UAE and Europe. Alia also gifted Ed-a-Mamma products to her other actresses.
