Prediction
Rafael Nadal and Taylor Fritz are set to meet each other for the third time in their ATP career.
Fritz is now on an eight-match winning streak and hasn’t lost a set during his Wimbledon run. Against qualifier Jason Kubler, the American didn’t take any chances and lost just eight games. In the last two games, Nadal has improved significantly.
The Spaniard has not lost a set to Lorenzo Sonego or Botic Van De Zandschulp despite playing a little shakily at times in the opening two rounds. While the American has looked strong and will be difficult to beat, Nadal, 36, seems to be on another level as he pursues the Grand Slam. Fritz did defeat Nadal earlier this year in the Indian Wells final, it won’t be very easy but the Spaniard is expected to win in five sets.
