Radhe Shyam is the period romantic entertainer featuring Young Rebel Star Prabhas and petite beauty Pooja Hegde. The film is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar of Jil fame. Expectations reached sky-high on the film as Prabhas is starring in a romantic entertainer after a long time.
It is known that Prabhas after attaining stardom with action entertainer Mirchi, did Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali and attained international recognition. Right after that Prabhas did high octane action entertainer Saaho with Sujeeth and then proceeded ahead with Radhe Shyam. Sahoo with Sujeeth and Radhe Shyam with Radha Krishna Kumar has been lined up by Prabhas much before he attained fame with Baahubali.
Reason Behind Radhe Shyam Movie Being Postponed, Star Cast, Story, New Release Date 2022
Radhe Shyam makers for a couple of days reiterated the film’s release on January 14, 2022 but they were forced to postpone the film indefinitely as the Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu governments imposed restrictions ordering total or partial closure of theatres following the surge in omicron cases. The makers will announce the new release date soon.
Speculation is on that the makers are planning to release the film in April and tentatively on April 29, 2022 or March 18,2022
Story
Radhe Shyam is a period romantic entertainer in the backdrop of 1970s Italy. Prabhas is playing the role of a palmist while Pooja Hegde is playing the role of a princess. Rumors have it that the film is a biopic based on the world’s renowned Irish astrologer Cheiro. William John Warner.

Radhe Shyam features Prabhas in the role of an astrologer Vikramaditya while Pooja Hegde is playing the role of Prerana. Maine Pyar Kiya fame Bhagyasree is playing the role of Prabhas’ mother. Prabhas’ uncle Krishnam Raju is playing the role of Paramahansa in Telugu while Satyaraj is reprising the role in Hindi and other languages. Flora Jacob is playing the role of Indira Gandhi and the film stars Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Sasha Chetri, Jagapathi Babu, Priyadarshi,Kunal Roy Kapoor and others.
Budget
The film is made with a budget of around a whopping Rs.350 crs.

Radhe Shyam will be releasing in theatres and the makers will announce the new release date once covid subsides.
OTT
Some rumors are spreading that the film will be released in OTT skipping the theatrical release. The makers got tempting OTT deals from Amazon Prime and others but they have rejected the offer.
