Rachel Bush doesn’t seem too happy with how President Joe Biden got Brittney Griner out of jail
The WNBA star was traded for Merchant of Death arms dealer Viktor Bout in what has become a controversial prisoner swap.
She was in Russian custody for almost a year. Now she’s back home, but Bush finds it strange that the same country that just gave back the most successful arms dealer in modern history also sends money to help pay for the war in Ukraine.

“We are sending billions of dollars to Ukraine for their war, but we just sent the “merchant of death,” a Russian arms dealer, back to Russia in exchange for a basketball player while Russia is at war with Ukraine. Does that MAKE SENSE TO YOU AT ALL,” Rachel Bush got angry when she heard about the trade. She is married to NFL player Jordan Poyer.

Rachel Bush is not the only one who thinks the way she does. This is also not a view that only Bush has. Dan Dakich and I talked about the same thing when we talked about the trade on Thursday. I even said that we could just let the Ukrainians kill him as one idea for how this could all turn out.
Viktor Bout History Specks For Rachel’s Position
Any way you look at it, it seems like a good question to ask. Viktor Bout is to blame for so many deaths that they can’t be counted. He filled the whole continent of Africa with weapons and worked with others to sell weapons that were made to kill Americans. That is not a point of view. That’s a fact, and it’s why he got 25 years in a federal prison in the United States.
At this point, the situation is over, and Griner is back in the United States, which is good. You can be happy that an American is back home, but you can also wonder if the deal was very unfair. Having a pro athlete work for the Merchant of Death doesn’t seem fair at all.
