Queensland Darts Masters 2022 Tournament Format

All matches in the opening round will use best of the 11 legs. A best of 15 leg format will be used for all matches beginning with the second round. The Final will likewise be played in the best of 15 Legs style.

2022 Queensland Darts Masters Schedule, Venue, Draw, and Playing Line-up

The Professional Darts Corporation will host the inaugural PalmerBet Queensland Darts Masters in 2022, which will also be the fourth event in 2022 World Series of Darts. There will be 16 competitors in the competition, comprising eight elite PDC professionals and eight local qualifiers. Additionally, the event will take place on August 12–13, 2022, at the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre in Townsville, Australia.

The winner of this World Series contest will get a £20,000 check. A cash prize of £10,000 will be awarded to the runner-up. However, every participant in the competition will receive at least £1250 in any case. Tickets can be purchased by the fans from here.

2022 Queensland Darts Masters Playing Line-up

In the first round, eight PDC players will compete against eight local players. Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen, Fallon Sherrock, James Wade, Michael Smith, Jonny Clayton, Joe Cullen, and Dimitri Van den Bergh are all members, who will represent PDC.

Fallon Sherrock, who was unable to compete in the 2020 World Series of Darts due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was one of the six players the PDC named as their representatives at the competition on April 11, 2022. Jonny Clayton and Joe Cullen were declared the last two PDC representatives on May 30, 2022. On July 27, it was revealed that Peter Wright had withdrew from the three Oceania tournaments due to health issues. As a result, Dimitri Van den Bergh, the current World Series Order of Merit leader, took Wright’s place.
