The controversy started when the 26-year-old rapper Shubh posted a distorted map of India on his Instagram account, glaringly missing the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and the Northeastern provinces. Along with the inaccurate map, he wrote,

Shubh subsequently deleted the map and replaced it with a statement that merely said “Pray for Punjab” without a photo after the controversial message drew widespread criticism.
Nevertheless, following the recent controversy, many cricketers, including Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya, unfollowed the artist on Instagram. Even the electronics company BoAt today announced on social media that it was ending its sponsorship of the program.

Shubh is an Indian-Canadian singer, songwriter, rapper, lyricist, and composer. He has been in the news because he has become a center of controversy before his scheduled performance in India.
His real name is Shubhneet Singh. He was born on 10 August 1998 in Nanga, Punjab, India. His father’s name is Avtar Singh, and his mother’s name is Jagjeet Kaur. Both of his parents are professors. He also has one brother named Ravneet Singh, who is also an anchor, actor, and singer.
Shubh is currently living in Brampton, Canada, and is 26 years old. He is currently single and has a net worth of Rs.50 lakhs-1 crore.
His career
Shubh, who specializes in Punjabi music, broke through to the general public in 2021 with his track “We Rollin.” His tracks have achieved success on the Official Charts Company’s UK Asian, UK Punjabi, and Official New Zealand Charts.
