Trump, a Punjabi rap song by Cheema Y and Gur Sidhu, is a song about power, loyalty, and rebellion and the title, translated from Punjabi, alludes to the current US president Donald Trump, however, it was released when Joe Biden was still in power.
Punjabi singer Cheema Y ‘Trump’ lyrics meaning in English explained as song memes go viral on Instagram after illegal Indian immigrants are deported by Donald Trump and USA
The viral chorus lyric “Jattan De Puttan Nu Rok Sake Na Trump,” which translates to “Not even Trump can stop him and his companions (Jatt’s sons),” has since gone viral in the aftermath of USA sending back handcuffed Indian illegal migrants with many joking how Trump had gotten Cheema’s lyrics translated and decided to take revenge by deporting Indians.

Meanwhile, Congress MP Manish Tewari discussed the number of illegal Indians in the US and the conditions experienced by those held on Sunday amid the controversy surrounding the deportations of Indian people from the US.
Manish Tewari noted that there are 7,25,000 illegal Indians in the US, with 24,000 of them presently in detention, citing US statistics. Tewari asked if India will let the repatriation of these people in appalling conditions, given that External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is still touring the globe for “inane conferences.”
In Asia, social media is buzzing about Cheema Y’s ‘Trump’ song 🎶 People are humorously suggesting that Trump has listened to the English version. Lyrics like ‘Not even Trump can stop the sons of Jatts’ are making waves. @elonmusk , can you confirm? 🤣 pic.twitter.com/b94CykUKYi

Manish Tewari wrote, “According to US estimates there are 7.25 lakh undocumented Indians in the United States of America. 24,000 Indians are in US detention camps. 487 have been served final detention orders. 298 out of the 487 have been positively identified as Indians.”
Manish Tewari also questioned US authorities’ handling of returning Indians and their purported inactivity over human rights abuses. In the Lok Sabha earlier on February 7, Tewari criticized Jaishankar’s defence of the Donald Trump administration’s use of handcuffs and shackles, calling it “deeply shocking and acutely disturbing.”
He also claimed that the EAM appeared to be more in line with a “mid-level official of the US government” than India’s Foreign Minister.
US Air Force aircraft transported Indians
The process of expelling a non-citizen from the United States for breaking immigration laws is known as deportation. The deportation procedure is supervised by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency and may be carried out for a number of reasons, including criminal conduct, visa status breaches, or public safety threats.
Notably, on Wednesday, the US Air Force aircraft transporting Indian nationals who “illegally immigrated” to the US touched down in Amritsar, Punjab. The jet that touched down in Amritsar carried 104 Indian citizens in total with the most 33 people each coming from the states of Gujarat and Punjab while Haryana came in next with 30 deportees.
Inside and outside the parliament, opposition parties attacked the administration, claiming that the deported Indians were “ill-treated and hand-cuffed” and that they had been transported in a “inhuman manner” in a US military aircraft.
The deportation comes after India and the US recently held discussions on how to deal with illegal immigration, a major problem since Trump took office last month. Additionally, the expulsion is consistent with larger United States immigration enforcement actions, indicating a more forceful strategy to reduce illegal immigration from a number of nations, including India.
