Earlier, PUBG mobile was banned in India due to security reasons and now, its alternative BGMI is all set to launch. Here’s all you need to know about PUBG Mobile vs Battlegrounds mobile India
In September, PUBG Mobile was handed a ban in India under Section 69A. Furthermore, the main reason for the ban was the Chinese connection and data security with the game. Moreover, Battleground Mobile India is now on the doors of Playstore, how the game has changed and made its way to India.
The pre-registration of BGMI has started on 18th May. Additionally, the game is developed and distributed by Krafton, the Korean company which owns the game. Krafton tried their best to make their feet in the Indian market and now with all the changes they have finally succeeded.
PUBG Mobile vs Battlegrounds Mobile India
1. Data Security
The main concern with PUBG Mobile was its data security. Furthermore, the Indian Government feared that the Chinese Company might use their data against them. Moreover, Tencent was the company that handles the distribution of the game globally.
Now, BGMI is developed specially for India and the data will remain in India. Additionally, Krafton made it clear that there will be no other connection with the game except Krafton.
2. Violence
The Indian Government also criticized the PUBG Mobile for the violence it creates in the game. Moreover, the game was banned in China for the same reason.
Therefore, we can expect something different in the new BGMI mechanics. Maybe, there will be a change in the bloodshed colour as it is in Game for Peace, the Chinese PUBG Mobile.
3.Fixed Time for Below 18 Players
PUBG Mobile was banned in Pakistan and Afganistan for the reason that it is addictive for young people. Although the ban was uplifted in Pakistan, the reason is still there.
Krafton found a solution to that and in Battlegrounds Mobile India there will be fixed hours for the under 18 players. Furthermore, players below the age of 18 can only play the game for 3-4 hours maximum. However, the hours are not fixed and it will be confirmed when the game launches.
