Krafton is all set to release the new PUBG Mobile 3.5 Update in the coming month, featuring all kinds of new features including vehicles, themed items, new areas, and release date
The new update will reportedly feature the winter theme, Frozen Tundra with the beta version having revealed some exciting features.

PUBG Mobile 3.5 Update release date
The release date for the new PUBG Mobile 3.5 Update is set for November 11, 2024 at 12:00am. It will feature a new and exciting Frozen Tundra mode, which players can check out below.
The beta version meanwhile is now available and players can download it from the official website.
PUBG Mobile 3.5 update new features and areas
The 3.5 update comes with a new themed mode called the Icemire Frontier. The new mode will feature several new areas including:
Frostheim
Frostheim is a new village which has two main places: the Chieftain’s Stronghold and BeastTaming Grounds. Both areas are packed with all sorts of supplies, including an Ice Crystal Crate as the final reward. Given below is a brief overview of the area:
- The Chieftainโs building is located in the middle of the village and has a hall full of supplies below
- The village features a BeastTaming Ground in the rougher area, with the Beast Wardenโs Keep located at the center
- In the middle of the village is a Frostborne Dragon trapped in ice, where the seal will eventually break and reveal a sanctuary where players can compete for the Ice Crystal Crate.
- The village will also feature snow piles all over which players can use as cover or turn into snowballs.
Magic Crystal Mines
Another new area set to feature in the new PUBG 3.5 update is the Magic Crystal Mines:
- These mines will feature a settlement on top with a mine below, where players can enter through a big entrance and look for treasure
- Players can also break the icicles located at the mineโs entrance to get supplies
- The mines feature hidden caves located across the surface and underground, and players can break the ice walls to look for rewards
- Players can look for the Magic Crystal Crate located in the center to break the weak spots and get rewards
- The Frostborne Dragon will eventually appear in the mine after some time
Dragonโs Lair Encounter
The new PUBG 3.5 update will also feature a Dragonโs Lair Encounter featuring the following:
- Players can fight the Frostborne Dragon by looking for keys on the map to unlock Ice Portals and enter the Dragonโs Lair.
- Players should note that enemy teams can also enter the lair at the same time
- There are several supplies caches and hidden crates located all across the lair
- The are also features the Frostborneโs Hoard hidden in a certain part
PUBG Mobile 3.5 update new gameplay mechanics
The new update will feature certain new gameplay mechanics including:
Frostborne Dragon
Players will encounter a new boss that appears in Classic Mode and Dragonโs Lair. The boss can fight on both the ground or air and players can defeat it to gain supplies.
Frostfire Altar
Players will come across special altars that spawn Frostsoul Spears as well as Frostsoul Warhammers. There will also be Ice Portals, where 1-2 Ice Portals will open at the start of the match. These portals will lead to the Dragonโs Lair.
PUBG Mobile 3.5 update new themed items
The new update will feature the following new items:
Frostsoul Spear
This item will allow players to jump high and throw the spear, creating a slow field. After a short delay, the player will teleport to the spear and create an ice ring.
Frostsoul Warhammer
This item is a melee weapon that will create ice walls in different sizes.
Dragon Horn
This item summons an Ice Portal that takes you to the Dragonโs Lair.
Dragon Blood
This item restores Energy and Health instantly, and gives all sorts of buffs.
PUBG Mobile 3.5 Update New Vehicles
The new update will feature two new vehicles:
Mammoth (4-Seater)
In this new vehicle, passengers can shoot from their seats and players can also make the Mammoth perform dance moves. Notably, players can hit its legs to make it collapse for 3 seconds before it stands up again.
Sabertooth Tiger (2-Seater)
In this vehicle also, the driver can shoot while the vehicle moves on its own. Players can also use the Drift button to make sharp turn before sprinting to charge forward. The Sabertooh can jump up to two stories high.
