Trade deals are already going on between the teams. The biggest batsman of the league Babar Azam has been traded to Peshawar Zalmi from Karachi Kings. Babar had a poor season with Karachi last season which resulted in him changing his team. It is still unclear whether Babar will get the captaincy role in Peshwar Zalmi.

PSL 2023 will be played in Pakistan
Pakistan will be hosting the 8th edition of the PSL despite the attack on Pakistan’s former prime minister lately. 4 venues will host the tournament along with the knockout games.
Karachi- National Stadium
Lahore- Gadaffi Stadium
Multan- Multan cricket stadium
Rawalpindi- Rawalpindi cricket stadium
34 matches will be played in the PSL 2023
Like the previous season, PSL 2023 will also be played in a double round-robin format. Each team will face the other twice. The 4 teams having the most points on the table will compete against each other for the semi-finals. The final will take place on 19th march.
