After the 6th edition of the Pakistan Super League was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Pakistan Cricket Board recently confirmed that the 2021 edition of the tournament will resume from June 9.
Henceforth starting from Match 15, the final will be played on June 24. All the matches will take place at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, including six double headers.
To bring everyone to the same page, before the tournament was suspended in March 2021, Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars had played four games each.
Whereas Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, and Quetta Gladiators had played five matches each.
PSL 2021 Live Streaming And Channel
The matches will start at a time window from 8:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST. With only a single match starting majorly commencing from 8:30 PM.
However on certain days the matches would start from 10:30 PM IST as well.
Sony Pictures Sports Network are the official broadcasters of PSL 2021. So cricket enthusiasts in India can watch all matches of the tournament on Sony Sports SD/HD channels.
Moreover, those who do not have a cable connection, need not worry. As one can watch the tournament online through the Sony LIV app or website.
Having said that it remains to be seen which team comes out on top as the teams have drastically been short-handed, with the likes of England and Australian players strictly prohibited to leave the country.
