While many of these titles may not be household names, there are several standouts that subscribers may want to check out before they disappear from the subscription service. Pathfinder Kingmaker and Kingdom Come Deliverance are both excellent games that offer plenty of hours of immersive gameplay. Marvel’s Spider-Man, which is also leaving in May, is a must-play for any superhero or open-world game fan.
PS Plus May 2023: Predictions for potential free games to expect
As for the potential free games that may be added to the PlayStation Plus roster in May 2023, predictions include Far Cry 6, which would make an excellent addition to the ongoing collaboration between Sony and Ubisoft. Another possibility is Marvel’s Avengers, which could join the Essential tier as it’s shutting down in September, and a recent update has made all skins available for free.
Other predictions include Ghostwire Tokyo, which joined Game Pass in April 2023, and Tales From The Borderlands, which flopped at launch but would make a great addition to PS Plus Extra and Premium.
In conclusion, while there are no official announcements yet, subscribers can expect an exciting lineup of free games for May 2023. As always, it’s worth keeping an eye out for official news from Sony, as well as taking advantage of any remaining free games available before they disappear from the subscription service.
