The commencement of the Pro Kabaddi League’s new season is anticipated for later this year, but the preparation for it begins with the PKL Season 9 Player Auction. On August 5 and 6, 2022, Mumbai will host the two-day event. On Friday, the league’s organizers, Mashal Sports, announced the dates.

Pro Kabaddi League 2022 Auction Player Categories and Base Price
The Pro Kabaddi League has three different player categories: Indian/domestic players, foreign/international players, and new young players. Pro Kabaddi players from India are auctioned off in four different categories, each with a different base price. Following are all four of these categories:

In PKL season 9, each team will have a wage budget of INR 4.4 crores for their respective squads. There are now more over 500 players in the season 9 player pool total, including representatives from each of the top two Khelo India Games teams.
The highest-paid player in Vivo Pro Kabaddi is Pardeep Narwal, who was acquired by UP Yoddha in season 8. It was the most costly Pro Kabaddi transaction to date. Some well-known players from the Pro Kabaddi competition, including Pardeep Narwal, , Rahul Chaudhari, Sandeep Narwal, Ajay Thakur, Deepak Niwas Hooda and Rishank Devadiga will be available for sale in the auction.
