Following an action-packed Season 11 where the Haryana Steelers emerged as champions, fans are now looking forward to the PKL 2025 auction with over 500 players up for grabs.
Pro Kabaddi League 2025 auction date and venue
Mashal Sports confirmed that the PKL Season 12 Player Auction will take place in Mumbai on May 31 to June 1, 2025. The auction will be a two-day event, featuring 12 teams aggressively bidding to rebuild and strengthen their squads.
Pro Kabaddi League 2025 auction categories
A total of 83 players were retained across three categories: 25 in the Elite Retained Players (ERP) category, 23 in the Retained Young Players (RYP) category and 35 in the New Young Players (NYP) category.
500+ players, including Indian players like Pawan Sehrawat, Arjun Deshwal, Ashu Malik and PKL 11’s top raider Devank Dalal, are set to go under the hammer and Iranian powerhouses Fazel Atrachali and Mohammadreza Shadloui alongside PKL veterans Maninder Singh, and Pardeep Narwal, will also enter the PKL 12 auction.
Ahead of the auction, the organizers divided the players into four categories: A, B, C, and D. Within each of these categories, the organizers have further classified the athletes as ‘Raiders’, ‘Defenders’, and ‘All-Rounders’. Each franchise will notably have a total salary purse of INR 5 crore to spend during the auction.

Ahead of the start of the new season, the teams have retained a total of 83 players across three categories. Some of the top names retained include Jaideep Dahiya (Haryana Steelers), Surender Gill (UP Yoddhas), Sunil Kumar and Amirmohammad Zafardanesh (U Mumba), and Puneri Paltan stars Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat.
