How will auction process work in 2023 Pro Kabaddi League?

The Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 auction is scheduled to span two days, taking place from 9th through 10th October. Notably, the bidding for the most sought-after players will occur on the first day, running from 8:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST. Although Tuesday’s starting time has not been disclosed yet, it’s expected to commence after 10 AM IST. On this day, players from categories C and D, as well as some from categories A and B, will also be up for bidding.

In the PKL Season 10 Player Auction, both Domestic and Overseas players will be categorized into four groups: A, B, C, and D. Within each category, players will be further sub-divided based on their roles as All-Rounders, Defenders, or Raiders. The Season 10 Player Pool is set to comprise over 500 players, including the 24 individuals who participated in the Khelo India University Games 2023 finals. Notable players like Pawan Sehrawat, Fazel Atrachali, and Vikash Kandola are also part of this exciting lineup.

Know team-wise player purse balance ahead of the 2023 Pro Kabaddi League auction

The monetary allocation allotted to each franchise has seen an uptick, rising from INR 4.4 crore to INR 5 crore. Nevertheless, teams have already disbursed a portion of this allocation on their existing squad members. Each franchise has the flexibility to roster a minimum of 18 players and a maximum of 25 players for the upcoming season. Several teams have already secured the services of more than 10 players through retention.
