Young Indian shuttler Priyanshu Rajawat recently displayed remarkable badminton skills in the men’s singles qualification round of the Spain Masters Super 300 badminton tournament on Tuesday, earning him a spot in the main draw.
In the first match, he defeated Uriel Francisco Canjura Artiga of El Salvador with a scoreline of 21-16, 21-12. In the second match, he faced a tough challenge against France’s Alex Lanier but emerged victorious with a thrilling scoreline of 21-18, 18-21, and 21-15, clinching back-to-back, impressive victories.

Who is Priyanshu Rajawat?
Priyanshu Rajawat is a rising Indian badminton player. He has been in the news because he recently earned a spot in the main draw of the Spain Masters Super 300 badminton tournament.
He was born on February 1, 2002, in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. However, he is currently a native of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. His father’s name is Bhupendra Rajawat, and his mother’s name is Prerna Rajawat.
Priyanshu Rajawat first enrolled in the Madhya Pradesh government’s academy to hone his badminton skills. Later, he was picked up for attending Gopichand Academy in Gwalior and Hyderabad.
He is currently 21 years old.
His career
Priyanshu Rajawat played a crucial role in India’s triumph at the 2022 Thomas Cup and has also made his mark on the BWF World Tour. In the 2022 Odisha Open, he emerged as the runner-up after a close match against India’s Kiran George, with a final score of 15-21, 21-14, and 18-21.
Over the course of his career, he has won four titles in the BWF International Challenge/Series in the men’s singles category, including the 2019 Bahrain International, the 2021 Ukraine International, the 2021 India International Challenge, and the 2022 India-Chittisgarh International Challenge.
