Prithvi shaw has been diagnosed with Typhoid says Captain “Rishab Pant”
Rishab Pant was asked about the reason of Shaw’s unavailability in back to back games. Pant replied by saying“We miss him but we can’t control that. He has typhoid or something, like that is what the doctor told me”. Shaw’s situtaion is looking quite serious as pant’s statement of post match press confrence suggests. Prithvi has seen many halts in his short cricket career due to Injuries and other things.

Prithvi Shaw was in hot form this season before getting ill. He scored 259 runs in the 9 games he played with a healthy strike rate of 159.88. Shaw was looking in sublime touch at the top with in form David Warner. Shaw was looking to have his posible best season with the bat but an unfortunatly his season came to abrupt end. The 22 year old still has many opportunity leave his mark in IPl and he has the potential to become the best.
Shane Watson’s Statement on Prithvi Shaw
DC’s Assistant coach was asked in a podcast about the situation of Prithvi in hospital. Watson said “It’s not looking great. I don’t know exactly his diagnosis but he’s had this underlying fever for the last two weeks now”.
DC’s playoff hopes are still alive as they can still reach on 16 points by winning their last 2 games. The playoff race is heating up and if DC want to reach playoff this season they have to be on their toes.
