Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi was an Indian businessman, renowned for being the executive chairman of the Oberoi Group. He has been in the news because he took his last breath at the age of 94.
He was born on 3 February 1929 in India and was popularly known as “Biki”. He was the son of the late Rai Bahadur MS Oberoi, the founder of The Oberoi Group, and his wife, Ishran Devi. He also has one brother named Raj Tilak Singh Oberoi.
Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi attended St. Paul’s School in Darjeeling, India, for his basic education before moving to the UK and Switzerland. He later completed his hotel management degree in Lausanne, Switzerland.
He was married and has three children: daughters Natasha and Anastasia, and a son, Vikram S. Oberoi.
At the time of his death, he was 94 years old.
Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi got married to Goodie, the daughter of a Punjabi landowner of Lyalpur back in 1959. Oberoi took over as the Chairman of EIH Limited — the flagship of the Oberoi Group in 2002, following the death of his father and founding chairman, Mohan Singh Oberoi.

Additionally, he established hotels in well-known Indian tourist locations.
