Price completed a fantastical comeback on home soil with victories against Chris Dobey, Michael van Gerwen, & Aspinall, cheered on by a sold-out Cardiff International Arena audience. During night two’s championship match, the 2021 World Champion avenged his loss to Aspinall on Night One and went on to win the maximum five league points alongside the £10,000 bonus prize in the Welsh capital.
In the quarterfinal, Price defeated Night One champion Dobey after a hard-fought final leg to win his first 2023 Premier League Darts clash. However, the day’s standout contest was the semi-final featuring Price vs. MVG that ended 6-5 in the favor of Price.
On February 16, the Cazoo Premier League roadshow travels to Glasgow’s OVO Hydro for Night Three of the league phase, where one of the quarterfinal matches will pit former world champion Price against the current world champion Michael Smith.
