The championship series will feature some of the best talents from the league in a series of action-packed clashes.

BREAKING: The Premier Lacrosse League will assign host cities to each of its 8 teams later this year.
This means the league is shifting from a tour-based model to geographically based teams starting in 2024.

This year’s tournament will feature the top four teams from the 2023 season: the Archers, Cannons, Waterdogs, and Redwoods, competing under the Olympic-style Sixes format.
PLL 2024 championship series venue
The iconic St. James Sports Complex in Springfield, Va., near Washington, D.C., will serve as the championship venue.
As of 2023, the each PLL team has a salary cap of $735,000 which they must allocate at least 98% of each year and the minimum salary for each player is $25,000 with the average salaries between $25-35K.
PLL 2024 championship series schedule and how to watch live
The round-robin play will begin on Wednesday, February 14, following which the semifinal games begin on Sunday, February 18. The final championship game will then take place on Monday, February 19.

Lacrosse Sixes rules and format
The Lacrosse Sixes format features an incredibly fast-paced playstyle, which lead to some high-scoring games. Notably, the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles will also feature the Lacrosse format. Given below are some of the key rules of the PLL championship series:
- The field is 76 yards in length and 39 yards in width
- Each team will feature 12 players on the roster and six players on the field (five field players, one goalkeeper)
- Each game will feature four quarters, with each quarter lasting eight minutes
- The 30-second shot clock will begin as soon as a team gains possession of the ball
- Teams that fail to shoot the ball before the shot clock expires will lose the ball to the opposing team
