Monday’s Premier Handball League match between Golden Eagles Uttar Pradesh and Garvit Gujarat finished in a 31-31 draw. Both teams displayed outstanding grit throughout the match and produced the first tied match of the tournament. Both teams were searching for the game-winning golden goal with 30 seconds left to play, and the score stood at 31-31. The game ended in a draw with a score of 31 all, however, due to the heroics of both keepers in the closing moments of the contest.
Jyotiram Bhushan Shinde led the Golden Eagles Uttar Pradesh in goals scored with nine, while Tuilboev Mukhtor led the Garvit Gujarat in goals scored with eight. Omid Reza’s several stops in the Golden Eagles’ goal earned him the title of game’s best player. In the other game of Monday, Telugu Talons lost 27-29 against Delhi Panzers, as Delhi secured their second victory of the tournament.
