The National Poker Series (NPS) India 2025, India’s biggest poker competition, is all set to begin next month, check out the full schedule, prize money pool, dates and more below
The competition, named the “Olympics of Indian Poker,” will feature all the top poker players from across the country.
National Poker Series India is the highest pedestal for Poker players in the country and hosted on PokerBaazi, its has garnered more than 5,33,000 entries, hosted 404 tournaments and glorified 1221 medalists over the past 4 years with it back for its 2025 edition come February.

This year’s competition marks the fifth year of the NPS India and will take place across two months starting in February on the 23rd at 2:30pm IST.
The National Poker Champion Showdown is divided into 4 parts:
State Leaderboard
The 1st Ranked player from each State/Union Territory leaderboard, determined by total points based on Medal tally, wins a cash prize of ₹2,00,000 and in the event of a tie in points, the winner will be determined based on: The number of gold medals won.
India Leaderboard
The India Leaderboard ranks the toppers from each State/UT Leaderboard in the descending order of the Medal Tally points and the top 12 players on the India Leaderboard, based on total points earned from medals, qualify for the 5-day Offline Event in Goa.
National Poker Champion Showdown Offline Event
The National Poker Champion Showdown is a 5-day Offline Winner-Takes-All Event event, held in Goa, with a prize of ₹1,00,00,000.
1 Crore Freeroll for the winner’s state
All players from the state of the National Poker Champion Showdown Winner who have participated in at least ONE tournament (excluding Satellites) in National Poker Series India 2025 (excluding Satellites) qualify for a ₹1,00,00,000 Freeroll event and the freeroll will be held online on PokerBaazi, one week after the conclusion of the Showdown.
National Poker Champion Showdown Formula
Weightage of Gold medal is 10 Points; Silver is 5 points and that of Bronze is 2 points and in case of multiple users having the same points in the State as well as India Leaderboard, the criteria used to find Leaderboard winners will be:

The upcoming competition, hosted by PokerBaazi, will take place from February 23 to March 24, 2025.
The National Poker Champion Showdown (NPC) has been announced and this exclusive offline event in Goa will see the top 12 players from different states compete for a winner-takes-all prize of INR 1 Crore.
NPS India 2025 prize money
The upcoming competition will feature a staggering prize pool of ₹100 crore alongside 573 medals for different categories. The competition will feature an unprecedented 191 tournaments, featuring all types of players, from newcomers to seasoned veterans. This year’s event will also host 21 events guaranteeing at least ₹1 crore in prize money. Notably, the NPS India 2024 featured just ten such events.
Notably, the Main Event will feature a ₹10 Crore GTD prize pool with a buy-in of ₹11,500. Meanwhile, the High Roller event will feature a ₹2 Crore GTD prize pool with a ₹23,000 buy-in. Besides that, Golden Rush will feature a prize pool worth ₹1 Crore GTD and a ₹1,150 buy-in.

As of now, the tournament organizers have not revealed the official streaming platform, but fans will undoubtedly get to watch the entire tournament live on a leading OTT platform.
