Renowned voice actor Rachel Lillis has passed away on August 10, 2024. Her sister Laurie Orr, confirmed the news about her tragic death, stating:
She passed peacefully Saturday night, without pain, and for that we are grateful.”
Larie also started a GoFundMe page to raise money for the late actress’s medical expenses. As of now, it has raised around $100,636 USD with the goal set for $100,000. Over 2.7K people have made the donations. Laurie also mentioned that they would use the funds to cover the remaining medical costs, as well as conduct a memorial service, and donate it to cancer research.

She is best known for voicing the character of Misty and Jessie across the first eight seasons of the popular English dub version of the animated Pokemon series. Rachael passed away on August 10, 2024, and she was 46 years old at the time of her death.
