Instead of waiting around, fans can play early access a day before the official release by using a simple trick.
How To Play Pokemon Scarlet And Violet Early Access
Fans can play the early access mode for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet using either the New Zealand, Australia, or Japan release date and time trick. However, the trick doesn’t feature any pre-order bonuses and players will need to register and create a new Nintendo account.
Players can simply choose either New Zealand or Australia as your country/region of residence when filling in the account form. Players can also opt for Japan if they wish to do so. Unfortunately, players cannot use their credit cards for either the New Zealand, Australia, or Japanese Nintendo store.
Playtech provides $15 and $30 gift cards for New Zealand, and both editions of the upcoming game will cost around $89.95 on the NZ eShop. Interested players can also get the Japanese Nintendo gift cards from playasia, while the game costs ¥6,500 on the eShop.
New Zealand And Japan Release Date And Time
The release date and time New Zealand Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is 00:00 NZDT on November 18. This timing means it will release 03:00 PT, 06:00 ET, and 11:00 GMT on November 17.
The game also releases at 00:00 AEDT, or 05:00 PT, 08:00 ET, and 13:00 GMT. Players who opt for Japan, will have a midnight local launch or 07:00 PT, 10:00 ET, and 15:00 GMT.
The sad part is that fans are not recommended to use the early access trick for Nintendo unlike on Xbox. This is due to the fact that players will need to continuously play Scarlet and Violet on this new region account all the time.
Moreover, players may find out that gift cards for other regions may cost more than just buying a digital copy of the game regularly in either the United States or UK. However, players who are looking to create a second account for a different region can preferably use the Japan region. This is because the Japanese Nintendo eShop has some great exclusive games.
