Pokemon Horizons anime English dub release date and voice actors cast list
For the first time in the franchise’s history, Ash Ketchum is not the main protagonist of the latest anime series, Pokémon Horizons. Liko and Sprigatito take over for Ash and Pikachu, with guest appearances from Fuecoco and Quaxly, two more Generation 9 starters.
On April 14, 2023, Pokémon Horizons debuted in Japan with a special first episode that aired for a full hour. Since then, the series has been broadcast weekly in Japan on Fridays at 6:55 pm, with each episode lasting for the usual 30 minutes. Ash’s adventure to become Pokémon League Champion concluded in late 2022, prompting the initial announcement of the series.
The Cast
The English dub cast for the Pokémon Horizons anime has apparently only announced two individuals as of this writing. Crispin Freeman plays Friede and Ikue Otani is Captain Pikachu in this production. With Captain Pikachu’s involvement as a supporting character, the franchise’s lovable mascot may continue to inspire new generations of fans while simultaneously carrying the mantle.
Pokémon Horizons will be dubbed and released later this year but an official release date isn’t known.
As was previously established, the new series features Liko and Roy, with Liko being considered the primary protagonist. As previously revealed, the Generation 9 starters will also include the Shiny version of the Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza.
Pokémon Ultimate Journeys
Saori Den, the director, and Daiki Tomiyasu, the creative director, will oversee the production. The show’s script supervisor is Dai Sato, and Tetsuo Yajima is in charge of the action. Character designer Rei Yamazaki, sub-character designer Kyoko Ito, sound director Masafumi Mima, and music producer Conisch.
The Pokémon Company has also announced that on September 8, Netflix will begin streaming the fourth and final season of the Pokémon Ultimate Journeys anime series. Brock, Misty, Gary, Team Rocket, and the Squirtle Squad, among other fan favorites from Ash’s first adventures, will make appearances in these new episodes.
Ash and Pikachu’s last chapter is the anime series, which celebrates their journey after they reach their common objective. On September 8th, not only will supporters in Japan be able to celebrate the conclusion of the duo’s voyage, but fans throughout the United States and Latin America will be able to do so as well.
