The large $3 million prize pool for the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022, which will be held between August 11 and August 20 was revealed by Tencent on Thursday.
In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the tournament will be a LAN affair. For the occasion, PUBG Mobile has teamed up with Gamers8 and ESL.

Earlier today, PUBG Mobile posted a video to its social media pages outlining the occasion. Tencent has disclosed that PMGC 2022 will have a massive prize pool of $4 million in addition to the PMWI.
PMWI 2022 Format & Schedule for PUBG Mobile
PMWI 2022’s specifics were revealed by James Yang, Director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports. Within two weeks, the game will take place which is the Main Event & After Party. There will be a total of 18 invited competing teams during the first week, which will take place from August 11 to August 13.
The After Party Showdown will take place during the second week, which runs from August 18 to August 20. This week’s competition will use a new structure in which 12 teams will take part. The second week will feature a competition between the top five teams from Week 1 & six teams from the selected region, along with one special invite.
The overall prize pool for the first week will be $2 million, while the prize pool for the second week will be $1 million.

Tencent announced two Global Esports competitions, the Mid Season Invitational as well as the Global Championship, which would take place in 2022 January. The World Invitational 2022 will now be known as the Mid-Season Invitational.
Konina Power won second place, while Next Ruya took third, with Alpha 7 Esports winning the West and giving $352,500 in charity cash prizes to UNICEF.
